Tin/Iron Roofs & Tiled Roofs

Iron Roofs Mohale RMP (Mohale Road maintainence and Projects) are skilled in waterproofing iron roofs aswell. The process begins by ensuring the roof is clean, good condition, free of rust and that is has all screws. The roof should not be damaged in any way. Fasterners are tightened or replaced. The waterproofing of the roofing can now begin.

When making a tin roof/Iron roof, it is improtant to ensure that this process is done correctly. We can assist with this aswell.

Tiled RoofsOvertime tiles crack and move. This results in leaks. Mohale RMP can replair roofs aswell as the leaks caused by them. If a leak occurs it is important to replace all damaged and affected materials. This may involve some construction depending on the damage of the leak. We can assist with this aswell. Waterproofing is applied under the ties of tiled roofs. Affected ties must be removed and put back in place.

How to find leaking roof tiles or leaking iron roofs? The easiest way to spot the leak is to go up into the ceiling on a rainy day should you suspect something. You can take with you a torch as water will reflect light. THis will help you reach all corners. Watch for spiders. Once you locate the source of the water, mark the area and contact us.

Alternatively with tile roofing, should you suspect a certain area, you can lift the tile and by observation will see if there is a leak. Then it is just a matter of taking more tiles out until you find where the roof leak comes from.
